Several top awards for our Lagrein Riserva Abtei Muri DOC 2014

The grapes for the Lagrein Riserva Abtei Muri DOC grow in the two monastery vineyards in the historical quarter of Gries-Moritzing. The wine is the product of decades of living passion for Lagrein and is doubtless one of the most successful and also most authentic interpretations of this native variety. A wine with structure, finesse and character - for substantial dishes, especially meat and game and also spicy cheeses. That has not gone unnoticed by the international wine experts and leading wine guides, who have awarded correspondingly impressive places in the rankings. We are particularly delighted that the “Guida Espresso” recommends the 2007 vintage of our Lagrein Riserva to be enjoyed now as a “vino da riassagiare” (wine to taste again).
